Cheryl understands what motivates technologists to deliver impact. As Senior Vice President of Technology & Products at salesforce.org, a nonprofit social enterprise that drives impact through the delivery of cloud-based technology, community engagement, and strategic grantmaking to nonprofit and educational institutions, she leads her small but mighty team to deliver transformational technology impact to tens of thousands of “for good” organizations including her own. In her prior roles at salesforce.com, Cheryl led large engineering teams and focused her efforts in the successful scaling of the company’s start-up culture.
Prior to joining Salesforce in 2005, Cheryl dabbled in industrial waste treatment as a chemical process engineer, software quality as a quality and performance engineer, and in leadership as an engineering manager for companies like International Paper, U.S. Filter, Amazon.com, and DigitalThink.
As a first generation college graduate, Cheryl is a big believer in the power of education to transform lives. She focuses her volunteer time on equal opportunity and educational access for all, regardless of gender, race, socio-economic background, or other life circumstances.
